As adventurers climb aboard the Matthew Turner they embark on a journey through the majestic Bay of San Francisco.  During each voyage visitors will see monuments and city landscapes that, like the waters beneath, have a diverse and ever-changing story.  Divided into four thematic categories below are the histories of many important people and events ranging from the 1800s to present day that helped shape San Francisco and its surrounding areas.
